Dominica is one of the few nations in the Caribbean Region that have started this initiative. Citizens who renew their passports would automatically be issued biometric documents. In contrast, those who have recently applied for a new passport would be allowed to wait for the new document to be released.

The Caribbean island would eventually permit the citizens to update their passports ahead of their official expiration deadline.

Additionally, citizens who endure the Dominican passport enjoy hassle-free entry into over 140 nations and territories worldwide. Dominica also offers the world’s best citizenship by investment programme – CBI, allowing investors who have undergone rigorous security checks by on-the-ground and outside agencies to become Dominica’s citizens.
